If that was the price to move ROR. He would have been moved at the draft. He becomes more expensive after 7/1.

The Sabres are going to move ROR for prospects they want and need, a young goalie and 3rd pair RHD are the least of their needs. MTL shouldnt have wasted their 3OA

-If I am mtl i dont trade my first which might be a lottery pick again.... better to sign bozak or stastny and cost yourselves no assets.. so you will over pay stastny try to give him more but for a shorter term and let buff pay the signing bonus and have too many centers.. statsny 8 mill for 3 years and wait for your young centers to develop and get a lottery pick next year... bozak works too but i would pay him 5.5 to 6 million for 3 years....

yes that works too.. depending on how greedy tampa gets because i wouldnt give them a 1st for johnson either
