I just don't see the Habs trading the pick for ROR. He's good but just not good enough to warrant it.

The Blackhawks would do this trade I think. I could also see a swap of AA and ROR in some fashion.

      Miro Heiskanen
      Pierre-Luc Dubois
      Dylan Strome
      Leon Draisaitl
      Jonathan Drouin
      Alex Galchenyuk
      Jonathan Huberdeau
      Erik Gudbranson
      Matt Duchene
      Zach Bogosian

Those are the last #3 overall picks the last 10 years. How many of them are better than ROR? I would say Duchene and Huberdeau are in the same category as ROR and that's it. The rest are clearly below ROR. IMO you cannot say that ROR is not good enough to warrant that pick. If I'm Buffalo, Montreal better be adding to #3 before I trade a top center.

Half of those guys haven't even peaked yet????? That makes no sense! But I digress, ROR is not worth the 3rd overall pick to the Habs. Maybe another team thinks differently. Can't speak for them. Can only comment on the Habs.
