The last thing MTL need is another RHD... They'll take Kotkaniemi. Prediction: they'll acquire another top 10 pick and draft Hughes...

Dobson won the Memorial cup and is something the Canadeins want from a player in the Quebec league, it just fits the line as he'll be the next big D man as Weber will not always be a #1 D man

MB cannot draft a guy that isn't a center… He told it himself; you draft your 1C. We have the chance to draft one. Weber will be excellent for at least 3 years.

How do you feel about a potential trade between the rangers and Canadians involving Kevin hayes (an established 2C) the 9th, the 28th, and the 39th for the 3rd and maybe another piece? The habs can take kotkaniemi at 9 if still available or they take a LHD and they pick up a lot of other assets in the deal. Feelings?

Right because unless they deal with either Arizona or Ottawa for their #4 or #5 picks the odds of Montreal getting both Kotkaniemi and Hughes are pretty small Detroit probably takes U of M guy Quinton Hughes at #6 depending on what happens to either Bouchard/ Dobson Montreal at #3 is the key piece to what happens from #4 to #10 and beyond.

What makes you honestly believe that Kotkaniemi will be available at #9 both Detroit #6 and Chicago #8 have strong interest in Kotkaniemi. Odds of him falling to #9 are pretty small he could easily go top 6 in this draft.

As much as i would love to see Detroit take a D men, If Tkachuk is still on the board at #6 Detroit takes him over Dobson/Bouchard/Hughes/Boqvist rather easily.

Again like I said they are getting a center in hayes and CAN take him IF available at 9 or get a LHD in boqvist or smith and get other assets. They are, in my opinion, reaching with the 3rd overall on the guy who is just the best at that position, not necessarily best on the board

So you think they'll get the 4th or 5th pick? I'm sooo curious as to how you think that will happen
