Why Burrows on the 4th?

Well, you buried Anton Rodin who just signed with the team, ostensibly, to play in the NHL not on Utica. You also buried Higgins who is likely to get bought out. Okposo could sign here and I admit $6 million plus seems about what he'll get on the open market. My gut instinct tells me he'll sign for even more, but you're right... Okposo would be a nice fit with the Sedins if the team can get him. Everyone is assuming Hamhuis is going to take a haircut re-signing for Vancouver, but I'm not su sure about getting him at lower than what you pay Sbisa. I think no way Hamhuis signs for anything less than what he already makes, as he's still in form, and I'm not sure that another team won't test him out for upwards of $5.5 million a year. He's worth it. Anyway, it's clear Rodin is going to play on this team next season, and a buyout for the services of HIggy or even Burrows is entirely within the realm of possibility, In theory, Okposo would look good on the Canucks, that I can agree with.

Anyone think Vancouver will try and move the TWINS ?? For some reason I have that feeling they are going to be aiming for rebuild to a degree. NOT selling off but moving older players while they can to add draft picks and prospects. JUST a thought NO ONE attack me on this lmao... I Like Tanev BUT I can see them getting a GOOD young defensemen in return for him.And remember if all else fails you can always trade Miller to Oilers.... (lol) they LOVE getting used up goalies that are over paid .. ITS there MOTTO. lol. Well that and Edmonton thinks winning the 1st overall pick is more important then a cup. lol.

No need to get attacked for an opinion haha. I personally don't think they move them.They are heavily invested in the city/team and would most likely need to be moved together and at 14M combined cap hit, would be hard to figure something out. There is always an option of retaining salary but I rather not. Their contracts are done in 2 season and they will be good to have around for the young guys coming in. Burrows and Higgins contracts have to be sorted out ASAP! lol. I can't look at that 4.5M cap hit for Burrows much longer. One more year for him though so I guess it wouldnt be the end of the world if he stuck around. Canucks back end needs to be sorted out. If they fall back in the draft I want them to take Chychrun.
