Edmonton would dream of getting a former Oil King in Lazar, who is going to be something special in the NHL for a long time, along with Wideman, who won the award for being the best d-man in the AHL last season, and a 2nd round pick, all for one of their many high paid forwards.

I like Berglund and Shatty, but there should be a way to get them without ditching Ryan. I would forget about Okposo and improve the C by getting Eric Staal.
