I don't think Arizona takes that trade. Letang's injuries could be a problem.

That is a very interesting idea with the Carolina trade... I just don't think Pittsburgh is giving up enough. Maybe a better pick than the second or something along those lines.

Well lucky for me, you aren't the GM in Arizona so they did in fact accept the trade with a huge smile on their faces. Lol.

I think it's hard to get any team to soak up over 13 million of cap space from another team.

Letang, K. = 7.5
Hunwick, M. - 2.25 = 9.75
Sprong, D. = 1 = 10.75
Sheary, C. = 3 = 13.75 million of cap space.

I know you are trying to subtract the other guy, but seriously that's a lot of cap space to send over to one team. I don't think you will see that happen

I don't see How Arizona makes that trade as it doesn't really make them any better. They already have a lot of young forwards so Sprong may not crack the top 9 there. Taking the money out of it
OEL is better than Letang. Sprong could be about the same as Domi but throwing Sheary and Hunwick in there just kills it. Arizoan needs an impact forward that can help their youth not more youth or bottom 6 winger.

Voynov signing would be risky and a possible PR nightmare. I doubt many teams will bite and if they do he isn't getting a multi year deal. Teams will want to see if he still can play and what the fall out will be.
