Description

This trade assumes that J. Trouba will be looking for $5.5-6.5M x 8 and that because of cap issues Enstrom will not be resigned. To even up the right side/left side D pairs, I propose trading one young, high end defenseman for another. To make this trade even more worthwhile, it will be used to unload Mason’s contract as well. The roster set up is very basic because the emphasis is on the proposed trade and shows the potential breathing room it may offer.

On the CAR end, they also even up their pairs, with the rumored trade of J. Faulk. Dumping Mason’s contract gives them a goalie option to pair with Darling.

jets need good young def on right side myers, buf getting old... and after that is poolman

better question is.. would the jets even consider this trade?
