Not a chirp, just curious as a sens fan why you would send Markstrom to Ottawa? I don't see us giving up a 2nd for him and not really interested in a goalie. Gotta hope Gustavsson is ready in a year or two when Anderson retires.

Gustavsson is too young to be ready in that time span. Hell be ready to push for a back up role at that point. Anderson is old and had below .900 save percentage and condon is a garbage back up. Ottawas is going to need a goalie.

Umm what do you mean. we are desperate for goaltending...Andy and Condon were TERRIBLE this year!

$30 million for Perron? You didn't think the Erikkson contract was enough of an albatross? Most of his career he's been a 40-45 pt. producer. But he's 30 yo and just spent the year with a very high scoring offense. He's going to come back down to Earth.

I agree. But we've been trading 2nd rounders like they're hockey cards. I'd rather take a chance on a UFA goalie until Gustavsson is ready if we need to. And I bet you Anderson bounces back next year. Condon, not so sure.

12 millions for 3 years of Emelin is the most laughable one ! As a guy who like humor , id make my day !
