Actual selections are my current mildly-informed opinion of the top 62 BPA. Descriptions are more of a realistic mock draft of what I would expect to see in June, because for some reason all the NHL GMs don't take my opinions into account.

No way is DET selecting Kotkaniemi, If Evan Bouchard is still there at #6 DET selects him pure and simple. DET would take Tkachuk over Kotkaniemi pretty easily.

As stated above, the descriptions of each pick are what I would consider a more or less realistic mock draft. The actual picks are my personal rankings, with no thought put into team needs or expectations on draft day. I don't think Detroit will take Kotkaniemi. I believe they should if he falls to them, but what I think should happen and what actually will happen are obviously different.

TankNation has Kotkaniemi ranked #13 they generally are pretty spot on, So one would assume that he should definitely be available with Detroit's #6 pick. Just is that Detroit needs D pretty bad and i believe that D would be their primary concern unless by a miracle Tkachuk would fall to them a #6 then all bets are off.

i think the devils will draft ryan mcleod because they drafted his brother michael 2 years ago. it will be awesome to see the 2 brothers playing together

His brother isn't good and may not make the NHL so I don't see that as good reasoning

I definitely like the Berggren pick but if Dobson is on the board I don't see how the Flyers don't take him. Berggren most likely would be available at 19 anyway.
