If I'm Buffalo I just don't like the idea of Faulk. His contract situation only being a UFA in 2 years and probably having to give an 8 year contract to extend him worries me. Pesce is more valuable. That being said even if you included Pesce instead of Faulk hard pass.

No way Buffalo would accept that? And John Carlson gets at least 7 years at closer to $8 million per. If not slightly more AAV.

Faulks not really intriguing, especially if Dahlin plays on the right. His numbers slipped, Rask fell off, and Fleury isnt more than a decent prospect still. For 2 of the Sabres best players, thats not going to catch their attention

I don't think he gets an 8 year deal no matter where he goes (or stays). More like 5-6 max. What would you want in return for those two?

Risto isn't moving, but if you wanted him and ROR you will have to send your 2nd overall pick this year, Jake Bean and Jeff Skinner minimum
