Two ufas and a solid defenseman for a great 1b/2 two way faceoff center, cheap top 4d, young top 6 winger with potential, and two seconds (one is pretty much a first). No thank you.

Nylander isnt even a top 6 winger in the AHL and if you call Anaheims guys UFAs then so is mccabe

He still had the potential. Shouldn't give up on him yet. Also McCabe is an expiring rfa after next season. Believe similar situation as lehner.

Not retaining on ror. I think mccabe is bottom pair on a good team, but nylander is still too young to be a throw in. So whats offered is basically montour at 7 million for 5 years for ror at 5.5, mccabe, nylander, and two early seconds. At least after next year when henrique and silfverberg walk. No thanks.

As much as Cgy would be happy to dump Brower’s salary trading Bennet for those for a 4 th line player with less points than either Brower or Bennett and a 5/6 LHD isn’t going to happen. They buy out Brower before they ever entertain this.
