Colorado says no way. Sakic just said they want to continue to get younger and faster. Martin is the opposite of that. If the Leafs wanted to dump his contract, they'd have to include a pick or prospect. 2 more years at $2.5M, add a 2nd round pick from Toronto to Colorado and they might consider it.

Martin is only owed $1 million per year for the next two years (signing bonus loaded). Many people have said that Martin is a tradeable asset for this reason. I really only picked Colorado because they don't have the best forward depth.
