Huge risk that honestly isn't worth it for MTL. There is no way you can predict he'll be there at #13. Best bet is to make your pick of BPA at #3 and trade for Veleno with whatever team drafted him I guess. Moving down 10 spots hoping a guy will be there is less than ideal.

I have mixed thoughts on Veleno. In the QMJHL he has a career 162 points in 171 games (0.95 PPG). At the WJC he had 3 points in 4 games (0.75 PPG). This year in the QMJHL he had 48 points in 33 games (1.45 PPG). If Montreal wants him so badly, they have the pick, and they can get him at 3.
