    Thats a non starter for both teams MTL has no reason to move out of the 3 spot and Edmonton is not moving Drai
    If im montreal i would entertain offers to move down 2-3 places max if they are not sold on Zadina and wanted Bouchard or one of the other young d

    sekera is still a top 4 defenseman, hes hardly a cap dump

    I doubt Strome coupled with picks is that far away from acquiring a Gally considering hes constantly rumoured to be involved in deals / they cant decide whether he is a center or winger

    It usually takes a full season to get back near where they performed before. I think he’ll be bad this coming season and then when you add in age, he’s realistically not a good top four option moving forward. It was a bad signing.... chiarelli copied the model he used in Boston signing the top lhd avaialble (Chara). He then followed the model of trading a high end player (seguin) for spare parts (eriksson and co) when he moved hall for Larsson.

    The guy has a learning disability or something. Any thread that has Edmonton winning a deal is instantly unrealistic imo. His biggest achievement was ruining a bruins dynasty.

    Gally or Chucky is a BIG difference.
    Chucky is the one we hear more about getting trade... 50pts+ in is last 3 seasons without playing with a Impact player.
    Maybe the value is close but the need is far.... getting a 30pts player + 2 picks will make MTL worst.

    With McDavid salary that will kick in... you really need to move him out at allllll cost
