Not so fast. You aren't stealing Mason Appleton away either. He's one of the Jets top forward prospects and they have multiple bottom six forwards that are better than Andrew Shaw. Appleton will be the 13th forward/first call up to the Jets next season, guy is a stud.

sens aren't trading Karlsson for an older, worse RHD signed for a million years. they need future pieces.

I'm giving up potentially the 1st OAP to go with Ottawa's potential 1st OAP pick. The odds of landing Dahlin (to replace EK) just almost doubled.

They also get Webber who will not play through his entire contract and probably retire at the end of the 5th year of 8 remaining on his contract. Yes he is worse than EK...everyone's worse than EK! But Weber is still Weber and he's probably the best partner for Chabot

Also I take Ryan and the majority of his horrible contract.

If they accept, they accept. If they don't, they don't.

I don't know. From what I hear, he's losing beaucoup market share to Nelly.
