We would need over two million more for both Stone and Tavares but other than that good team.

2. We still have a few overpaid players

So, if we wanted to make this work, I think we could.

Duchene, Tavares, Stone, Hoffman, Chabot and Karlsson = solid core

Take far more then $9 million for John Tavares to sign in Ottawa, He wants to win and that isn't happening in Ottawa.

Look at that lineup, next year could be very good.
As for the money, we have capspace and a few overpaid players that fould be dealt away.
