Description

Chiarelli makes a big move to clear cap space and picks up a RW who (along with nearly every Sabre) is suffering through a very bad season and a defense-man who is actually out performing Sekera this year.
Botterill moves Okposo for 2 2nds and picks up a defense-man who may have merely had an off year.

Additional Details:

Edmonton receives a RW, help on defense and cap relief. Okposo has had a very difficult year. He has performed much better in the later half of the season (24 pts in 35 last gm) than the earlier (17 pts in first 34 gm). Playing with either McDavid or Draisaitl will dramatically improve his performance.

Heavily lopsided trade from an Edmonton perspective. Okposo with salary retained has higher value than Sekera. Probably have to make pne of those 2nd rounds a first

Thank you very much for your comment. If Botterill could trade Okposo and Beaulieu for Sekera, 1st and 2nd that would be HUGE!!! Botterill would have their airline tickets purchased before he got off the phone with Chiarelli.

Never put lucic on mcdavids line he cant finish to save a ******* life. Put RNH on McDavids wing, if the oilers had done that since the beginning of the year McDavid would have well over 100 points by now

Thank you for your feed back. I try out trades and solicit feed back. I think you just made me realize that the 2 2nds really should be a 1st. Okposo and Beaulieu would return 2 2nds, then taking on a salary dump, that is another 2nd which when added together make for a pretty good 1st. Great to have feed back/
