Cap will very likely not be that high. That said, you can save some money here, too. Sparks won't make more than a million. Holl shouldn't make more than like $800k, and Kapanen is probably a bit high, too.

I've seen a lot of articles on Sportsnet and other news sites saying the cap is projected to be 78-82 million dollars next season so the cap is at a fair value imo.

It is possible that at the Leafs pay both 2017/18 and 2018/19 Performance Bonuses in 2018/1 That would allow the lineup to be certainly be cap compliant as you have suggested.
