Yeah, Patrick wouldn't be involved, ever, in a Hoffman trade. That VGK trade destroys our bottom-six too.

Patrick has been a bust as far as projected top overall pick goes. Hoffman is actually good and so is ryan, hes just expensive. Pyatt is the best shot blocking forward in the league along with bonino. Bottom 6 improved. And so much of philys bottom 6 gets paid 2+ million, thats a problem when you have so many non roster player making that much.

I like the idea of trading for Hoffman but overall I feel like this team is worse than the team Philly is currently icing

You're obviously not watching the Flyers, then. Patrick has been one of our best players the last two months. He was coming off of double hernia surgery, so he had no time to condition over the summer, and then got a concussion. He has 14 points in the last 20 games.

So, barring no other injuries, is anyone predicting a big fantasy sleeper in Patrick next year?

You might ask yourself about the ottawa deal but look closer. Ottawa isnt retaining on any of those big contracts and phillys is retaining on the only expensive contract theyre sending. Nolan Patrick, picks and prospects... Its a rebuilding arizona senators dream.

Definitely. He'll have a whole summer (barring injury) to get into better shape and get better chemistry with Lindblom and Voracek.

Yeah but Nolan Patrick’s a big part of the Flyers both now and for the future. With all that ur giving Ottawa, I bet u could get away with swapping him for another big prospect (one that hasnt started in the NHL yet).

he'll be a 20 year old one season removed from being the second overall draft pick, so sleeper,no.

Oh, come on. Who selected Nolan Patrick on their fantasy team this year? It had to b less than 50 percent

I might have took hischier is someone else didnt but nobody took patrick. Maybe i picked him up at one point but hischier wouldve been a sleeper this year too because hischier actually looks more skilled with his hands and he was taken 1st and NJ had a bunch of solid prospects step in and perform well from the start.

don't really see how that's relevant.anyways, I'd use the term breakout candidate before sleeper. sleeper to me is guys who won't be on the average fantasy players radar, a guy like Patrick should be.

Fair enough, he has a point.
