Any trade that includes one of the big three with 1st round picks has to wait until the summer when it can be a sign and trade to assure Karlsson is here for more than 1 1/2 years

I know there are a lot Leaf haters out there say Marner or Nylander has to be included in virtually any Leaf trade. No semi building team.....Leafs, Carolina, Winnipeg would offer so much so Karlsson. This trade would set the Leafs back years. Ottawa is going to find there are going to few suitors for Karlsson. Just like Tavares if he's traded this week, there aren't 30 bidding for services

Not every trade. Only trades for sure fire hall of famers who play 30 minutes a night and are still in their 20s.

Still won't be from the Leafs. They only so much money, and can will want to sign their own players before paying so many assets for Karlsson. I'm an Ottawa fan but teams aren't paying for what Karlsson was. That ankle injury has made only only a shadow of what he was. Karlsson is going to have to proof himself next year if he ever hopes to get a real top contract.

The trade is a joke, the Leafs or any team isn't given up so much Karlsson.

It's a ridiculous offer to Ottawa. Leafs aren't going to strip their team for one and a bit years. But somehow on this site, Leafs have to severely overpay for short term players. I really think many posts are just trolls Karlsson just hasn't played well this season, maybe due to his ankle.
