no teams would agree to the shaw or pac trade. florida is giving up a potential lottery pick for pacioretty. and wpg wont give up their 1st rd pick, maybe a 2nd and a prospect

Bad trades, no team is accepting a 7th for a second and Callahan.

Callahan has 2 more years in his contract and his caphit is 5,8 $ million a year. He has 10 points in 47 game this year. I am sure Tampa would be happy to pay a second round pick to free all that cap space.

he's got an ironclad 100% NMC meaning unless he thinks he's going to a contender he's going to stay in TBL organisation until he gets one or his contract runs out .
players dont fight for the Full NMC to avoid going to rebuild teams just to go to teams like MTL i'm sorry

You make a good point, but If Mtl give him the guaratee they will buy is contract out, I'm sure an arrangement is possible. He would then be free to sign with whoever he wants (even Tampa) for a more decent salary.
If Bergevin wants his team to get better, he has to be creative.
