Why are you rushing the development of Stephens and Ingram? Stephens would play max 8-10min a night and Ingram would probably only start 15-25 games. Where keeping them in the AHL would have Stephens playing 15+ min and Ingram starting at least 30 games.

Montreal can't take all that cap. Maybe if Tampa retained 50% on both and MTL sends some cap back but not just like that.

I think the real question is why would any of those trades happen? Riad doesn't realize that just trading players away for draft picks is not an option. If it was, every team would be stuck with a new set of players they'd want to get rid of as every team has players they want to get rid of. Even for free they can't.
