Byfuglien makes $7,600,000 for another three years. Seabrook makes $6,875,000 but for another six. But they could buy him out in the last couple. It would be a good fit too.

Nobody is taking on that Seabrook contract without Stan retaining? Seabrook makes about $6.8 million for 7 more years after this. And Chevy needs to resign Trouba then Laine and Wheeler those 3 combined could make close to $22 million or more. The last thing Winnipeg needs is a 32 year old Seabrook who's trending down. Byfuglien is far more useful then Seabrook will ever be.

Jets GM would be nuts to accept this trade. Any team that take entire Seabrook's contract would be...his lenght contract is terrible.

Besides, tell how would you intend to re-sign woth Tavares after this season? He'll probably ask for about 12M/y.

Seabrook for Byfuglien would be a major downgrade Byfuglien can still put up the points Seabrook is worthless.
