Don't forget Timmins, Yakupov and Colorado's 1st pick in 2019 & 20......maybe 21 & 22 as well but those would be conditional (i.e. the habs receive them) on MacKinnon playing ten games for the habs the following season!

Vatanen isn't worth that and all the other trades vastly favor the Habs.

The first 3 trades are a royal joke and would never happen, Price isn't getting you MacKinnon, Plekanec and Alzner for Hanifin and Skinner all i can say is 5 pieces for Vatanen is way too much.

I'm neutral on the Price trade, (yea Avs win the trade) but the othesr favour the Habs by a lot.

pro tip. a 30 year goalie signed to a mega over price contract is not going to get you a Young 1C, especially to a rebuilding team that is built around said 1C

Love Price but you wont get some franchise 1C for him. Thats not how goalie trades in the NHL work

Avs do not win that trade at all. Would be utterly disastrous. It's a really close run thing as to which team has the most stupid bunch of fans....Laughs or habs? Price is a good goalie but would be old for a rebuilding team, would have a ridiculous albatross contract around his neck, doesn't seem to be able to stay fit, and unlikely to waive his NMC to go to Colorado anyway. People forget MacKinnon is still only 22 and is starting to break out and is the guy the Avs will be building around. Crazy to even think you'd get him for less than a massive overpayment. Think the Duchene trade and then some and keep adding.

TJTWolf. That Duchene trade has really worked out for Ottawa hasn't it. If Duchene continues his downward three year trend, his next contract will be a PTO. I'm amazed Dorion did not see Duchene for what he is, and not just what he was.

Give it time. Duchene isn't responsible for the train wreck in Otttawa alone. He'll bounce back........ but if not then there is no question the Avs are run away winners of that trade. Regardless, MacKinnon would cost you that trade and keep adding!
