I would rather trade Patch or Chucky... or anybody else rather than trade Gally... He is probably the only untouchable on the Team.

Can't do that Callahan trade if Sergachev plays 40 games (which is likely), plus Callahan has a NMC.

Thanks for your comment.
Il love Gally too. But we have alot of small talented feisty players (a lot !!!) and Gally is the most valuable of them. That's the price to pay for a center like Nugent-Hopkins. We need to keep Gallchenyuk and Patch caus e we don"t have that much player of that kind.

Your right about the Sergachez thing. So I fixed it and offered a 6th round pick in 2019 instead.
Callahan might accept the trade if he is told that is going to be buy out and will then have the chance to go wherever he wants.
What do you think ?

I think Callahan would prefer to stay in Tampa and try to win the cup now that he probably has the best chance to get it.

When all this is done. we need to find a good offensive defenseman to play with Weber.

Well the trade can be done after the season if he wants a taste of the Stanley Cup, but Yzerman can't afford to keep on his roster a guy like Callahan who has no offensive production and has a cap hit of 5,8 millions $ for two more season.

That's a lot of trades. But pretty solid overall. Could definitely get more if patch traded instead

Like already noted, Callahan has a NMC and can't be traded without his own consent so even if Yzerman wanted he can't trade Callahan. Next year it becomes a modified NTC so a trade could happen in the summer but Callahan still has an option to block a trade to Montreal.
