Description

The Habs are fast and young, but have a porous defense without Weber. Even with Weber back they'll still be shallow there, and the speed of the offense can't likely keep up all season. If they can land Jack Hughes that shores up Center for a generation, allowing them to find the missing pieces elsewhere. These are trades they can make to lose, get Hughes, and be ready to contend almost immediately after.

You seriously think that Tatar who I admit is having a good year + Benn and a 4th will get you Lindholm? He is essential for the Ducks. No way, Anaheim declines as soon as you mention Lindholm... and Zacha had a great night, never get him either unless you give up something better. 3 stars for wishful thinking though

maybe scherbak and a 2nd will get you a decent D prospect... maybe

Lol, the title is Lose for Hughes yet you make the team significantly better.

Btw. That does not touch Lindholm. The other teams decline pretty easily as well. Zacha worth more than Shaw and they are adding a pick? Seriously? Fleury worth more than the 2 you are sending them and they add a pick? C’mon. You are paying 25 cents on the dollar to other teams. You Need to reevaluate your perception of player value.
