Even the Canes are kinda in a win mode. They aren't trading their best Dman for futures. Debrincat or Schmaltz have to be included in trade. And Hawks add.

There's just no reason for either side to make this trade. It REASONABLY will cost debrincat and more, but any debrincat trade should be a No. The reason to draft all those Dmen is to created a system like CAR or PHI or WPG or ANA. They draft and develop a steady churn of dmen. The Hawks need to do that. I'd like to see them draft the best player available in next years draft...even if it means 1 more dman to stay in the OHL a bit. I'm hoping the best available is a forward, but still best available.
