Krug is going on IR (for some reason I don't see that option on here anymore). Now the question is, 14th FWD or 8 DEF.

No surprise. Frederic and JFK both didn’t do enough this preseason to win the job. I think Frederic will be up at some point. Krug is now on IR, so he’ll be out about a month. I guess The Suitcase is still in the picture. Wouldn’t be shocked if he ends up sticking.

Solid two-way center. Good motor, solid vision, always seem to know what he wants to do with the puck before he gets it. His defense and zone coverage are still a work in progress for the NHL level. In a perfect world he'd be in the AHL as I don't think playing juniors will really do anything to help his development, but with the rules he wasn't allowed. I hate putting line #'s on players, but I'd say he's got the upside of a #2C in the NHL.

I thought Frederic had a better camp than JFK.
