Description
Never used this before so I wasn't sure how to add the rights to someone in a trade. One of Nyquist/Tatar would be involved in the trade to acquire Lindholm. (Probably Tatar as he has more upside with lower contract. Replace the roster spot with Sheahan. I just picked 2 teams to rid of Smith and Big E. Salary dumps...get them both out of here. Mrazek shouldn't get anymore than what I gave him in my eyes, too inconsistent. What do you all think? I think this puts us in a playoffs and makes us much stronger. Youth is the key here, 13 retires when his contract is up and the $ is shared with the younger ones.

Sure, Lindholm will get more than 3.2m Also to sign another teams RFAs draft pick compensation is required. As much as Detroit would like to dump their contracts, so would most other teams. Eriksson and Smith could be traded but only if bad contracts are coming back to Detroit.

You're never getting a 2nd for Ericsson, plus he has a NTC.

Miller won't be coming back for $1.5M.

You're 2 under the roster limit.

Teams would throw 4-6M for Lindholm going forward. Hasn't even hit his potential yet.

This was my first time using this but I would like to trade for Lindholm rights. I think Nyquist or Tatar would be going back the other way. So take one of them out of the roster and you would then input Sheahan. The contract dumping....I would be open to Fowler, Vatanen or Lindholm from the Ducks. Detroit needs to upgrade on the back end badly. Edler is another guy thats been rumored to be traded here and I would be for that as well. Moving Smith and Ericsson would be much tougher than just getting a pick back so yes, would need to improve that. There is a little wiggle room with the roster and cap right now but if you take away Eriksson we could eat some of the salary and potentially give Lindholm/Vat more $.

Granted, this is just a brainstorm as I tossed it together in a short period of time.
