Description
This is what I expect the hawks look like in October and I really like this group. Faulk has two years left on his contract and after it expires, Boqvist and Jokiharju should both be ready to play full time in NHL and in same summer we also have to extend DeBrincat. Thoughts?

Just put Hossa on LTIR you will get full cap relief, he is almost like a 5 millon dollar coupon, so instead of giving up a pick to rid him, just put him there.

I dunno if Toronto has any interest in Murphy. Plus, Hawks probably have to add more to Carolina.

No, it's not that simple. You dont have that much flexibility during season if u put him on LTIR now. It was also reported that moving Hossa contract is a top priority for the hawks during summer.

If not the Leafs, then somebody else. And I think hawks dont have to add more to that Hurricanes deal. Mitchell will be a top 4 D in NHL in 2-4 years and next years draft is expected to be very deep so 2nd round pick could bring Carolina another great future asset while hawks can afford to trade Mitchell cause they hava Jokiharju and Boqvist coming in about same time and are both also RHD.

I don't know, you're getting two roster players for 1 roster player and player rights. Mitchell is good, but he's a question mark. He may not want to sign in Carolina cause of their D depth.
