    Finally...a post where the free agent signings almost all make sense. About the only one I have some problem with is Borgman. Bravo!cool

    I think if you can get that length or a couple of more at an average cap hit between what he was making this year ($925,000) in the NHL and your number ($2,250,000) which is $1,587,000, then I think your signings are perfect. But that's just my opinion.

    Made some small moves. Added McQuaid to be like a better Polak. Better or worse?

    Sorry Mate. I am a Polak supporter. Although, Polak is 32 compared to McQuaid's 31, over the last 10 years Polak has had 133 points and McQuaid has had only 76 points. You can get Polak for much cheaper too. At this point, the Leafs would be better off using one of the kids from the Marlies.
