Description
This team would happen realistically. Adding JVR to second line would add more scoring depth to our lineup and in overall that second line looks quite deadly.

Adding DeMelo back to the team adds safety to our team in case of injuries. Having more NHL ready defensemen is never a bad thing to have.

That Boedker trade doesn't really define what team or draft pick the trade should especially have. It's just a placeholder there to remind that we need to get rid of that $4M contract and basically any draft pick trade is fine by me. Of course higher pick is a higher pick.

This roster would also make the next year's signings a little bit easier.

so JVR watches a guy that just put in 29 goals get 7x7 but after his 36 goal season he settles for 5.5 x 3?

6x6 will be the min for JVR

I wouldn't mind $6M either on JVR. I think the biggest factor that hinders his salary projections on different sites and tables is his average ice time. 14:54 isn't something to be joyful about but then again, if you give him more responsibilities inside the team he is on, that could change to a better number. And yeah, I know Kane's salary may up some other salaries and JVR is right there next in comparison. The term length isn't really something I tried to even wonder about that closely. I just put some number there. But what I can say about it is that Sharks shouldn't sign JVR for a long contract if they don't know right from the bat that he takes his place and goes into the Sharks system easily. That's why that 3 term length is there.

In addition: these salaries are mostly projected from Matt Cane's Salary Projection Table from Twitter. I am not that big of a wizard yet that I can foresee yet what kind of paychecks the players are gonna get so I go with what I can get from wiser men.
