Ek65 to hawks fair trades??? Would you do this?

I’d like to see this from the Chicago side.... I’d be worried about the cap space they have and if Chicago could resign Karlsson or not.... if not it’s too much of their future for a one year rental.

It's not horrible value but it depends on if we know Karlsson won't extend here. And if Dorion is comfortable sucking next year and giving Colorado a great pick.

I also think someone like Anisimov is included in the deal somehow for both cap and value purposes.

yes, it's far too much to pay for one year rental to every fan base except for the senators. how many high priced players can the hawks afford even if EK is resigned, probably it is not possible.
debrincat and the eighth overall and more, would any other team offer more for a one year rental.

I think the ask is too high in the first place. Secondly, for anything resembling that ask it would need to be a sign and trade (showing Blackhawks mgmt future cost), or involve Seabrook going the other way.

The Hawks don't even have the pieces for Erik Karlsson, At least not without mortgaging the farm. And no way can the Hawks afford Karlsson without at least moving out that horrendous Seabrook contract any ways.
