    So you assume Eric Fehr is going to be out for multiple seasons with his current injury when he should be back by march?

    Obviously he didn't, but he needed to somehow make the cap work.

    Yeah but if he traded Kunitz for a draft pick and resigned Rust or Wilson instead of paying Stempniak(which he wouldn't get for 1mil anyway after this season) the cap space would be there and Fehr would be in lineup
