Description
Quite utterly ridiculous, but a fan can dream.
NOTES:
1. Blackhawks win the Draft Lottery. As of 4/4/18, at a 6.5% chance that happens. Let's be honest, it's not even the most outlandish thing on this AGM team, so roll with it.
2. Salary cap projected to be $80-82m. Let's pretend there's even a remote possibility it hits 82.
3. Don't spend up to the cap, save $8M for Panarin FA Return 2019-20. WILL happen IRL
4. Hayden is re-signed but this will not let me place him in the American League.

You aren't getting an elite right wing for a damn 2nd round pick. also Stone if you think that makes less than 6.75 you are insane. dude should be making close to 8.

Ok se here's where i disagree. On no planet will Melnyk re-sign Stone for anything above decent money. He's already letting Karlsson walk, and trying to sell the team. Maybe bump up his AAV to 6, but the thing is, he's an RFA, he doesn't want to be back in OTT while they start their rebuild. I would be very willing to bet you his RFA rights would be easily acquired for a very early 2nd round pick. Then being around Kane, Toews, Saad, etc he could be had for cheaper than open market value, because they would be competing for a cup and again.... He's not on the open market.. he's Restricted.

wow. mark stone for 2nd. do you even understand what rfa means? because he is an rfa that means only the team that trades for him can sign him. If ottawa would put him on the market a ton of teams would be interested. any team that gets him can sign him for 8 years so basically the other team is getting an elite winger in his prime. Elite wingers in their prime with term don't go for a second.
