If I was the Caps, I'd pass. Risto is insanely overrated and Bealieu is bad. It would be nice to dump Orpik but Bura is a young top 6 forward that can get you 50+ points and Johansen is a future top pairing dman.

Im sure Buf would want more for taking a Cap Dump. They’re gettin a top6 F and a prospect D-man, yes, but they’re giving up Risto and retaining on Beaulieu. Change that 6th to a 2nd and I’ll take it.

Oh, I’m sorry. Risto’s #s not good enough for u? U try playing top 2 minutes on Defense on a team like Buffalo. At least he still is able to look like a top 4 D-man.

Dahlin plays LD not RD. O'reilly is number 1 in entire NHL on face off's, not sure why you place him on the wing.

There is a typical formula for a player similar to Ristolainen a good pick (typically a 1st), a decent young roster player, and a good prospect. I see the good young player, the good prospect, then I see a cap dump and a 3rd. A cap dump costs a prospect, young player or pick. This offer is very short of what Botterill will want. I know Ristolainen many contributors do not think he is not among the top tiered NHL D-men, but his point total is seriously hampered by playing for the lowest scoring team in the NHL and only 3 players in the entire NHL get more ice time than he does Doughty, Sutter and Karlson. So just what do you think it would take to move them off of your team?
