Lucic is bad but not trade a potential cornerstone defenseman bad. I think EDM would be better off to lessen Luc's role and hope he can bounce back. At this point his value as a cap dump will only improve as fewer and fewer years remain on his contract. At this point, I think holding onto him is your best bet.

Also looks like you're selling Klefbom a bit low. He could pull back an amazing winger for McDavid that would be around the same age.

Why would oilers trade Klefbom for future potential? They don't want to be rebuilding forever do they? They could get NHL ready or NHL proven players for him if they're willing to deal him
