Description
If we got lucky and won draft lottery, I think there's a very good chance we can sign Tavares too. Seabrook will be bought out in summer 2020. That gives cap space to re-sign young guys. This team could win 5 cups in a row. And if you sign Tavares, you should also be able to bring up cheap and effective guys like Tkachuk. This team would be so scared around the league. With guys like Jokiharju and Mitchell also coming, the future of our defense looks lethal.

      Hi CaptainClutch, all the others,
what do you think of the possibility to replace the draft pick in Edmonton trade for Russell or even Sekera? Would it be a trade option?

laugh laugh Not even close, Forsling a late 1st round pick plus 2 2nd round pick doesn't get you a top 5 pick. Need to offer Detroit far better then this. And we still say no.

FYI You can only sign Tavares for 7 years and once again John Tavares will get closer to $12 million then $10 million with the reported salary cap close to $80 million no way JT only signs for $10 million per.

IF he wants to win, I think he needs to take a Toew type of contract, if he's in for the $$$, then I think net $$ will come from a state with no income tax, the Florida, texas of this world.

So I could see him @ 10.5 in Fla/Dal/TB, 12.5 in another US market. 13+ in Canada. Up to him whether he wants to be able to go out and eat like a normal human being or be a superstar that can'T do $h!t because his every move are under scrutiny
