This probably wouldnt work but if you don't bring on Galchenyuk they should have the space - although there is no way MTL takes that offered deal. Flyers will have carry over bonus money most likely and will have a ton of bonus money next year too. The only way JT could fit at this price is if they bought out Lehtera and move simmonds for picks or prospects and bank that cap space. I highly doubt Mrazek is back. Hexy isn't going to give up another draft pick for an average goalie but depending on the playoffs i guess i could see him back at that reasonable price - especially if they could recoup picks form dealing simmonds.

I figure Hextall trades Mrazeks RFa rights to try and recoup what he spent to get him.

yeah he could try, but idk how many teams will be lining up to give up assets to get him in the offseason when tons of backups are available. He had more value at this past TDL but that would be nice if hexy pulls something like that off. If he has a good playoff run is the only way i could see a team doing it, but that also means the flyers probably just bring him back

I think he has actually played decent so far. Sure there have been some high scoring games but we have been pretty bad in our own zone the last few games. Hard to blame Mrazek for a lot of those goals. A team Like Arizona could be interested. I know if I was Raanta I would sure want out of there and test the market.

Yeah I'm not saying he's bad but how many teams would he be a starter on where it makes sense to give up assets for you know? That's all. But I agree
