laugh McDonagh and Hoffman deals are a royal Joke, Sounds like Hoffman and Pageau aren't being dealt you'd lose to Tampa on the McDonagh deal rather easily.

McD is worth more then what you offered. Here is my counter offer, 2018 1st round, 2019,2nd round pick, Liljegren and Soshnikov.

I don't mind the selling trades, which I doubt would happen, but I don't get the Ryan McDonagh trade idea at all from the Leafs' perspective. The team already has two established LHDs of the same quality, and one of the best prospects in the league at that position. How much ice-time would McDonagh even get in Toronto, I wonder. Not to mention, one NHL-ready player (Borgman) can't even play, and Hainsey had to be moved to RHD.

Pageau could be an interesting addition as a depth centre, but trading a full pair of Ds and a pick is quite a hefty price. I think I'd pass and seek for a UFA in the summer.
