Description

I think Leo Komarov is more than capable of being the Leaf's 4C for the rest of the season and playoffs.

Grabner has played for the Leafs and Babcock before so he knows the system which should make the transition from the Rangers relatively easy.

Having two burners like Grabner and Kapanen flanking Komarov would make them the most dangerous 4th line in hockey, IMO.

When you're in the playoffs and up against the best teams, it's usually the bottom six (a team's true sign of depth) that puts them over the top in a series.

I think making a simple move like this would put Toronto in a good position to make a decent run.

Who knows? Anything can happen in the playoffs, right?

Komarov and his playmaking abilities (or lack of) wouldn't make the Leafs fourth line all that dominant. Why trade Carrick for a meaningless pick? He can be kept., especially if depth is important.
