No to the Chicago and Edmonton trades. Giving up WAY too much for an aging player with a 10+ mill contract. WAY overpayment.

Others are all over the place...

Why would the Leafs trade for Patrick Kane, who is making over $10 million on a long-term deal when they can use that money to resign the likes of Nylander and Marner (who many compare to Kane), and who are far far younger? Aside from that, I agree with @DJSums17 that your deals seem to be all over the place. Finally, there is absolutely no way Edmonton would deal us their 1st round draft pick for 2018, unless it is protected. Considering how deep the 2018 draft class is, it would be much more worth it to keep our own pick, which, considering how the Leafs have been playing of late, might turn out to be quite high. JVR is traded before Gardiner is.
