    You know that the Blues are rumoured to be shopping him bc they dont think they can afford him, Not the forward the Blues would be looking for, Nash is too expensive

    This is pretty close to what I would like to see happen actually... I'm going to post one in a minute with an idea. As far as Nash being too expensive i disagree. He only has 2 years left on it after this year and St. Louis can't afford to re-sign shattenkirk as a UFA because they need to upgrade their forwards... not necessarily because they don't have the money.
    I think the rangers are in a tough position right now... they obviously have to take on salaries in order to move their salaries.

    This is a straight up pipe dream. Gorton would have to be a magician to pull these deals off. He'd also have to send Columbus a fleece jacket if they accepted that trade

    Gosh, these are really bad. Besides benefitting the Rangers, how do the trades help the other teams? Are these trades made so the Rangers have enough cap room to sign Stamkos?
