    Really. Three bad trades just so the Rangers can dump contracts so Rangers can sign Stamkos. Haven't we seen this scenario enough?

    We're exchanging term for Salary, and the trades are in fact realistic. Staal fits PIT from a management and a game perspective, Columbus needs center depth and defense--both players have played under torts before. Glass is a waste of cap space and you know it.

    Stamkos is the SAME AGE as Stepan. Moving Nash and signing Stamkos might be seen as a lateral move (it's not), but it brings the rangers some assets/picks for this coming draft/offseason.
