Description
With McDavid's monster contract kicking in and the cap rumoured to go up, I looked at how the Oilers would manage their cap situation. There are many FA's I signed for cheap contracts. Let me know if those salaries are plausible or not. I didn't resign Cammalleri but instead Hendricks because he was a great leader for the young guns on the team.

Thought the improved Nurse would deserve more. Wouldn't Montreal match Lindgren's RFA

Where is Slepyshev? Nurse may get more, but will definitely get more then Benning. Too much for Hendricks, Letestu, and Strome IMU. Not gonna get Lindgren without seriously over paying or trading, I don’t think he’s worth an offer sheet. Lots of UFA goalies next season. That Pittsburgh trade is pointless.

Strome makes that much right now so that wouldn't go down. Slepyshev is not on the line up. I'll look at UFA goalies.

6.4 mill for three players that maybe total 70 points altogether is a lot of roster spots, and salary. Slepyshev is an RFA, so if you don’t resign or trade him you lose a probable top 9 player for nothing. Gambardella and Malone are depth AHL guys that don’t go against the team cap unless you have to call them up.
