Description

The team is fine as it is after July 2nd, this is a scenario where Treliving decides to make a splash.

PP1 plays down low with matthews in the middle for a quick one timer or deflection from the blue line with Tavares in front of the net.

PP2 plays an umbrella and have Robertson and Nylander rip it with Sundqvist as their bumper/net front.

PK1 is solid, don't love it but good enough to be in top 15 in the league
PK2 same thing, Knies showed great PK skills last year, might even be better than PK1

Berube gets 2 of his guys who work their ass off for him. We get a much needed 3C that is Right Handed, this line-up provides flexibility with Domi and Jarnkrok who can play up and down the line-up.

Could've gotten a better more valuable 3C in FA like Roslovic but after this year we need to extend Knies, McCabe and Holmberg who are keepers and which will get a raise. Also Woll his new contract will kick in. This season we need to keep cap close to our chest to not loose guys to FA next summer.

Perhaps asking for that 3rd was a tad too much, 2 4th's and a conditional 3rd if buffallo makes play-offs to make it fair. Buffallo lacks center depth and RHD depth on bargain deals.
Kampf provides 3 years of building their prospects and gives them a chance to be more competitive in the bottom 6 for 2.4 a year. Timmins is a roll of the dice, Buffallo could use him otherwise the leafs waive the ****.

This creates space for their prospects to slot in the line-up and gain draft capital for an aging player who is more of use in Toronto, This is a deal to strengthen relationship between Toronto and the Blues with all their connections, Toronto can return the favor in 4-5 years.
