Any day over the current team. I was totally against the Sergachev trade. Him and Mete could of been our future on LD

It is, and it has been for a while. But they'll eventually get out of it, but they gotta hit rock bottom 1st. When no one cares about them and the Bell won't sell out anymore. Maybe then theyll realize that hiring the "best french" coach, GM etc. Isn't gonna cut it

I agree that this is a way better team.

Although Markov wouldn't have signed for less than 3 years. He was asking for 4 years at 8M$/year before Bergevin told him to go play in Russia.

Furthermore, the salary cap situation for the next season would be really tight (a little over 11M$ in cap space) with a lot of re-signing and/or free agency to do.

That's way off from what i heard. Apparently Markov was asking for 6 mill 2 yrs
