I dont mind trading Barbashev, but not sure if another first round pick is worth it for Kane. I'd rather save it to try and land Tavares with some of our other top prospects

Would you do 2 2nd's with a condition that if STL reaches the conf final it becomes a 1st?

Um, buffalo wouldnt. Kane is the top prize this year. Guys like antoine vermette and paul gaustad get 1sts

I think Buffalo would do that as the first round pick they'd be getting from a contender is going to likely be in the bottom 10. I would probably do a conditional pick based on a conference final or if Kane were to sign an extension.

Sabres can get better, theyre also probably going to be looking for a+ prospects (d and LW) not picks, this team has been rebuilding enough
