Wow. I really like the look of this team. Tougher more balanced stronger wings and better depth at all positions, plus, two younger goaltender both entering into their prime years and competing with each other.

I do not understand the Boone Jenner trade though. That is the best spot for him on the third line. I think the value is way off for what is being given up.

I still don't understand why Vegas would be interested in Marner. Unless they want to emulate Toronto's salary cap structure.

I assume they want to win more of them. I don't see how Vegas comes out of a Marner trade being a better team overall. Nashville, Utah or Seattle would at least make sense as a trade partner for Toronto. Vegas? No.
