get the idea but if ur looking for a winger U call LA or Det. Ott wing is fairly thin and while batherson is solid U could get a fairly similar player from Det or LA and more without having to give up merk.
carrier is interesting. Not sure what his market is tbh havent really looked at him too hard hes kinda in the lower T2 of Dman in FA imo so not sure how good that deal is. I think ideally Sway gets 7.5 for 8 years and that saves u a bit of cap. I think depending what ullmark gets back Drouin, sprong and duclar are 3 guys who could play 2nd line wing for 4ish or less M and would be ok with a 2-3 year deal.

For the carrier and swayman signings I'm going off the daily faceoff projections for them. I dont think dulair or drouin bring enough to the table to sign them. Both of those guys are similar to debrusk but with less production value. I'm also supe 50/50 on merk and I dont know where he'd slot in if they keep him.

Drouin is probably the best 1-1 switch while saving like 1-1.5m in cap. He brings slightly more consistency and a slightly better offensive game but worse Dgame.
